Metrogyl DG Gel Forte is a combination of Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Metronidazole. It is used in the treatment of gingivitis (gum swelling) and ulcers in the mouth. It is also used in the prevention of tooth decay and dental plaque (a soft, sticky biofilm that builds up on the teeth due to bacterial growth). It works by inhibiting the growth of micro-organisms responsible for swelling and ulcers.
